This portfolio gives a glimpse at the tools and range of experiences I have had the opportunity to develop during my college career. The online format demonstrates my organization and creative design skills. The artifacts build on my teaching beliefs and credentials. I wished to reflect a well-rounded educator through this portfolio who plans to challenge her students with new ideas and processes. Putting forth the effort and making time for every opportunity life brings is important.

Specifics to student instruction could be further developed for the viewer of this portfolio. Some of my evidence is hypothetical illustrating a desired plan. A video clip of myself teaching a lesson or conducting a club meeting may have been more clear, however not available. In the future I would like to document my practice in journaling and/or audio recording so I can further assess myself and collect documentation for situations such as this. I would also like to grow in the area of strategies of instruction. I know my content and have developed reading and thinking strategies that work together with content for student learning, but more types of instruction are yet to be discovered. I hope to only grow in these areas as I enter into teaching.
